PROCEDURES FOR HOSTING A LOCAL TOURNAMENT without foreign teams**
Fill out the Application to Host a Tournament
Remember to fill out all fields especially the referee assignor area (CDYSL, 19 Aviation Road, Suite 10, Albany, NY 12205 – 518-435-2325; fax 518-435-2328; cdyslassignor@cdysl.org)
If you checked the box that makes this tournament unrestricted, be sure to put in the other leagues you are accepting such as US Club, AYSO, Super Y, etc.
There is a charge of $250 from ENYYSA but if you wish to forgo that fee, you must agree to show the logos of US Youth Soccer and ENYYSA on your website. This should be on your home page of the website and it should link directly to those two organizations. Ask Tammy at cdyslregistrar@cdysl.org for their logos. If you do not wish use their logos, you need to submit $250 with your application. You need to have your logos linked on your web page prior to ENYYSA approval.
Submit the application to CDYSL for their approval.
Once CDYSL approves the application, we send it down to ENYYSA for their approval. Once ENYYSA approves, you will receive the approved document back. You need to put this on your club website to show all that you are now a sanctioned tournament.
CDYSL cannot advertise your tournament until we see your tournament listed on the ENYYSA website as being approved.
CDYSL will contact you at least one month prior to your tournament to show you how they want the information that is needed for us to assign referees. We have a format that must be followed.
Two weeks prior to the tournament, CDYSL needs to have the referee schedule in the office so we can assign the referees. If we do not receive the schedule two weeks prior to the event, we cannot promise that referees will be available to work your tournament.
CDYSL will send you the referee assignment document back to you when we complete assigning with the names of the referees and their contact information.
Once your tournament has been completed, you have 30 days to submit the Post Tournament Report to CDYSL.
**If you wish to have foreign teams, you need to fill out that Permission to Host as well and submit the fee for this application as well.
